Hi, I'm Jane! I am an artist based in Los Angeles, and love connecting with others through creativity. Since 2017, I've taught ages 3 - 83, young artists and young-artists-at-heart, at nonprofit community centers, private schools and charter schools. I received my BFA from Brigham Young University with an emphasis in drawing and painting and my MFA from Art Center College of Design. Currently, I enjoy working between painting and sculpture and consider myself a life-long learner. 

 

I started Small Brush Studio to expand my offerings and facilitate personalized learning and play. I lead with a compassionate and curious mind. In classes, I encourage students to learn about a variety of materials, experiment, and get a little messy!
